Tom Clancys The Division Beta Signups Go Live

The sign-ups for the Tom Clancy’s The Division beta have gone live, allowing players on all platforms to register their interest and begin impatiently drumming their fingers on their desk, waiting for the beta invites to plop into their inboxes with a satisfying thud.

Microsoft’s got some of its usual shenanigans going on, which means The Division’s beta will be going live on Xbox One first, in December this year, before coming to all other platforms in early 2016. That is to say, PC and PlayStation 4 also.

Now there’s two ways you can go about this. You can either pre-order The Division for totally guaranteed access to the beta when it goes live on your chosen platform, or you can join the altogether less glamorous sounding ‘Waiting List’. Signing up to this doesn’t guarantee you a position in the beta, but the earlier you sign up the greater your chance of getting in, as Ubisoft “Opens the gates to more players at certain times.”

You can sign up for the beta for yourself here.

Naturally The Division got a decent showing from Ubisoft during E3 last week, including a full 11-minute gameplay rundown. If you’re thinking of placing a pre-order down, that video should give you a pretty decent indicator of what to expect from the final game.

If you’d rather forego a beta in favour of the real deal, Tom Clancy’s The Division will be launching on March 8th worldwide, on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
