Paradox Interactive has become the latest to buddy up with
the Humble Store and unleash a Humble Bundle, this time offering up a host of
Paradox classics for as little as a dollar. Grand strategy fans are covered
here, as you’d expect, with Victoria II,Crusader Kings
II, Hearts of Iron
III and Europa
Universalis IV all vying for your cash. Entire marriages have been
sacrificed at the altars of Paradox’s grand strategy titles, so enter at your
peril.
The one dollar tier will net you four games alongside some
items for the free-to-play Magicka: Wizard Wars, with War of the Roses:
Kingmaker, Magicka, Kings of Pen & Paper +1 Edition and Victoria II all
available.
Beating the average will get you a bit of a mixed bag.
Hearts of Iron 3 is great, as is Crusader Kings 2, but Impire leaves a lot to
be desired. Still, this tier sits at just $5 with the promise of more games
coming soon, so there’s a bit of a deal to be had here.
The final two tiers are $15 and $35. The former grants you
Europa Universalis IV, the best of the whole bunch, as well as its Conquest of
Paradise expansion. If you’re feeling a little delirious then $35 will get you
a t-shirt and some buttons for, erm, buttoning things.
There’s definitely plenty in there to be getting on with,
probably thousands of hours of gameplay in fact. If you’ve already picked up
that last Might & Magic bundle then you’ll be pretty much set for life with
this. The Humble Paradox Interactive Bundle can be grabbed for the next
fortnight or so here.
