If you’re an avid Android gamer then you’ve probably played Grand Theft Auto: San
Andreas on your phone already.
It’s a great game but it takes a lot of resources to run it properly. It’s a
very commonly used game in comparison videos because it’s a good indicator
of a phone’s GPU quality. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G4 have both been in
close competition lately due to their similar tech specs, so this video will help us
tell if they’re as good as each other when it comes to gaming performance too.
Adrianisen starts out by showing the settings, which are pretty much maxed out
on both devices.
As we watch the video, it starts to become more obvious that the LG G4
is the winner in this case. It seems that the flagship device has a somewhat
smoother performance than the Samsung Galaxy S6. It’s pretty impressive that LG
managed to make a flagship that can compete with Samsung’s so well, but on the
other hand, we also expected some better results from the Samsung Galaxy S6.
Samsung Galaxy S6 vs LG G4 Gaming Test Results
There are many things to consider in a GPU test. For instance, the LG G4
could heat much faster while delivering better performance, but that doesn’t
seem to be the case. In any case, the performance gap between the two devices
isn’t too huge. The LG G4 seems to run the game more smoothly, but not by far.
Samsung’s flagship can still run the game very efficiently, but more testing is
required. Then again, the game could be poorly optimized, but still, the
results are pretty conclusive.
