iBall launches Slide i701 tablet with 7-inch display, Windows 8.1 at Rs 4999

iBall has teamed up with Microsoft to launch a new Windows-based tablet dubbed Slide i701 at an affordable price of Rs 4,999 in India. The device will be available across all leading stores in India as well as e-stores starting tomorrow.
In terms of specifications, the tablet sports a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor paired with 1GB RAM. The device comes with built-in storage of 16GB, further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the iBall Slide i701 has a 2MP rear snapper with flash and a VGA front camera. The new device runs Windows 8.1 and comes fuelled by a 3200mAh battery. The iBall Slide i701 tablet also comes with a one year MS Office subscription, 1TB of free OneDrive cloud storage and access to all the popular apps on the Windows Store. In terms of connectivity, the iBall Slide i701 includes an HDMI port, USB on-the-go, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G through USB Dongle.
