E3 is set to get its first ever dedicated PC gaming
conference, due to take place on June 16th. The 3-hour PC Gaming Show will be
happening at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles, and will also be livestreamed
on Twitch.
AMD is presenting the show and will be joined by PC Gamer,
Bohemia Interactive, Blizzard, Paradox, Cloud Imperium Games and more, during
an event focused solely on PC gaming. A number of guest speakers will be making
presentations, and hopefully we can get a look at some new game reveals and
announcements during the event.
“The PC Gaming Show embodies the spirit of innovation,
openness and community that’s part of our DNA—delivered by gamers, for gamers,”
said AMD corporate VP Matt Skynner. “The time is right for a PC-focused
event in the week of E3 and we’re honored to be part of bringing the industry
together.”
E3 2015 will be taking place from June 16-18 in LA, with a
number of press conferences also taking place the day before the event kicks
off. So far we know there’ll be conferences from Sony, Microsoft, EA, Square
Enix, Bethesda, and Nintendo’s E3 Direct, so it’s sure to be a packed year this
time out.
Think it's about time PC gaming got its own E3 press
conference? Are you expecting anything big to come out of this event, or
keeping expectations low?
