Doc Brown himself is the upcoming King’s Quest reboot,
as Christopher Lloyd joins a host of other names voicing the adventure. Veteran
acting talent Lloyd will be voicing the elder King Graham in King’s Quest, the
star of the show. He’ll be retelling a tale of his former years, with Josh
Keaton taking on the role of the young Sir Graham.
The pair will be joining the voice of Spongebob Squarepants
himself Tom Kenny, Toy Story’s Wallace Shawn, Zelda Williams and a host of
others in what looks to be a mighty fine voice cast.
King’s Quest unfolds around an aging King Graham, who is
regaling his granddaughter with the tales of his youth, reimagining the classic
adventures from the original 30-year-old game series. It’s being publisher by
Sierra and created by The Odd Gentlement#, the studio responsible for The
Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom.
The first episode of King’s Quest will be arriving later
this year on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, via
digital download only.
